Whether you are looking for a ready-made walking aid, need a custom made stick, are seeking to build just one stick for yourself, or you are a professional stickmaker looking for quality made stick making components, I believe I have something to offer you:
- Handles - Ready Made:
Turned or fashioned - these handles all come pre-made, ready for installation - part-finished - suitable for finishing with varnish, oil or Danish Oil. Includes turned, crooks, pistol grip, derby, capped antler, etc. - Handle Pre-forms for DIY:
For those who want to shape the handle themselves. All the hard work is done for you - the basic shape has been formed, and in some cases (check the listings) the handle has even been pre-bored for rodding. Ready for shaping and building into a beautiful custom stick. Shapes include crooks, cleeks, pistol grip, derby, etc as well as uncapped antler. - Handle Carving Blanks:
Well-seasoned lime, cut into handle sized carving blocks. Save on postage - fill a box. Various carving patterns are also available. - Collars / Joint Covers:
For those who like to hide, decorate, or simply strengthen the joint between the handle and the shank. These are all unique - made by me out of wood, antler, or buffalo horn or ramshorn and are offered in a variety of formats and styles - straight or reducing, decorated or plain and with various bore sizes. Including the JbT Signature Walking Stick Collar (shown right). - Shanks:
It is unlikely you will find just plain 'stick' shanks on this site, although you never know... These are individually turned - by me - in my workshop. Some are local hardwoods, some are exotics, all come part-finished, pre-bored and ready for assembly and finishing to make beautiful and unique additions to your wardrobe. - Stick Making Components:
For part-turned thumbstick caps, rodding sections (threaded steel), spacers and wood for splining sections Also turned exotic buttons and dowels for hiding screws/reinforcement dowelling. - Stick Making Kits:
Easy-to-assemble kits which contain all the necessary parts to make up the walking stick. They do not include glue, tools or finishing products. And you also supply the effort... - Ready-to-Walk:
As it says - these come ready to walk. Usually finished with linseed oil. - Custom Made Sticks:

- I don't do big discounts for multiple purchases or cheap bulk orders.
- You have to buy a lot from me regularly to get any discount at all.
- I do small production orders, but you will pay a fair, professional rate for my work.
- Larger production orders: While I will advise you on what you should buy for the job, all production work buyers must provide their own timber.
