Sale of knives is restricted under current law.

NO UNDER 18 KNIFE SALES

Please Note:   It is illegal to sell a knife to under-18s.
•  By ordering a knife/blade on this website you are declaring that you are over 18.
•  Knives and Carving tools should be used responsibly and appropriately.

Before your knife can be posted - you have to supply me with:
  1. A signed hard copy of   this document,   which includes
    permission to keep the information as hardcopy on file. This complies with the law re sales of knives to under18's, guidance from Wiltshire Trading Standards and the Data Protection Act.
What will I do with your signed document?
  • Information will be checked against date of birth records and the electoral role.
  • Your document will be kept exclusively for purposes of showing compliance. The information will not be shared, sold, or used for any other purpose.
  • This is a one-time process for new customers and those existing customers who I don't know for sure are over-18. Credit card ownership is no longer viewed as acceptable proof of age.
Information for Non-UK buyers
Even you have to provide me with a signed hard copy of
this document   before a knife will be posted to you. Regardless of the laws in your country - I sell these products in the UK, under UK law. You the buyer are responsible for ensuring you may import any items bought from my website into your own country. I do not accept responsibility for the items once posted. If they are confiscated after posting or subject to taxes, that is your problem. I always obtain proof posting, but otherwise accept no responsibility for their loss, impoundment etc. When you navigate further into this section, you are re-affirming acceptance of these terms.
